Copper

Copper is a natural resource that has been used for thousands of years. It is soft, malleable, and used as a conductor of heat and electricity, for building material and electrical applications. Copper does not react with water, but it does slowly react with oxygen to form a layer of brown black copper oxide which protects the under layer from further corrosions. Both copper and aluminum foils are 100% recyclable without loss of material integrity.
